The Artist from Crieff, Scotland
Peter M.C. Brock 'Pedro' was born in Crieff, Scotland and still lives and works from his studio at home. His work has taken him to many parts of the world having worked on Cruise ships for more than twenty years. He has worked at weddings, corporate events, private functions both in the uk and abroad drawing his quick cartoon style portraits, locally at Crieff Hydro or as far as Montreal in Canada.
In the past thirty years pedro has drawn thousands of faces including many celebrities and has appeared on television and spoke of his work on numerous radio programmes.
It is not just the quick spot cartoon portraits, Pedro illustrates for books, calendars, greeting cards, paints murals, and takes private commissions for any type of artwork.
After studying at Dundee College of Art, he decided to go into business back in 1985, he was drawing and painting for many years before 1985 but since going into business has been commissioned to do work for many top name companies throughout the UK and has had his work published in newspapers, magazines and books.
