Peter M C Brock was born in Crieff, Scotland, educated at Crieff Schools with further Education at Perth College and Dundee College of Art. ' Pedro Art ' was established in 1985 as a Business drawing Cartoons, painting murals in pubs, and drawing spot caricatures at Highland Games and Gala days. He worked for 'The Scottish Tartans Society' as an illustrator and graphic designer , followed by a short spell in Toronto as illustrator with a newspaper. He then set up on his own as Cartoonist and artist, illustrating and drawing caricatures ( listed left and right - some of the hundreds of companies who have commissioned Pedro over the years) Pedro has also Exhibited throughout the UK and abroad, and has been commissioned to do artwork across the world, whether it be a painted scene in oils, watercolour or acrylic, illustrations for books, magazines, calendars, or most popular of all - Presentation caricatures for Birthdays, Christmas or retirement. 'Quick on the Draw' Spot caricatures at Weddings and Events is also very popular, and Pedro is in great demand with bookings two years in advance. He is available for Charity dinners, Private Functions, and Corporate events. Most memorable events being invited to draw at The 100th Anniversary Dinner in Montreal, Canada, for The Black Watch Association - or The Annual 'Emmerdale Extravaganza' in Aberdeen for George Walker Events, raising funds for The Anthony Nolan Trust. ' The Pavilion Theatre Glasgow', when commissioned to create a cartoon image of all the cast for 'A Celebration for Jimmy Logan'. Other events like 'Stakis Hotels' management 'Burns Supper' was also a fun filled memorable night. I remember doing one quick drawing, Once I got the brief, 'The Cabaret Tattie', it took me only a few minutes to create , but the ' Cabaret Logo' for 'Cygnet Potatoes', was seen on 'Tattie sacks' distributed all round the world... Art Classes on Cruise ships, local Art classes and 25 years later. Pedro Art is known throughout the world. More locally, 'Pedro' entertains guests every night in Peak season drawing Cartoon Portraits at 'Crieff Hydro'.
